Coordinator for International Relations

To promote international exchange and multicultural understanding in Okaya City, the Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) assists and organizes various projects related to adjusting Japanese society to an increasingly multilingual, multicultural, and international world. Many of these project include but are not limited to: international exchange programs, primary and secondary school visits, language classes, cooking classes, cultural lectures, as well as translating and interpreting.

The current Okaya City Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) is Mervin Salazar from the Philippines.
